Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge for estimates or diagnosis?

No. We offer a complimentary, no-pressure evaluation to assess your trees, explain what we're seeing, and discuss appropriate options.

All evaluations are performed by an ISA Certified Arborist, with recommendations based on tree condition, site factors, and long-term outcomes.

Do you do pruning or removals?

Yes. Utah Tree Med provides professional pruning and tree removal services when appropriate. All pruning and removal recommendations are guided by an ISA Certified Arborist and based on tree condition, safety concerns, and long-term outcomes.

In some cases, pruning or removal visits also reveal underlying health, soil or pest related issues. When appropriate, treatment options may be discussed to support remaining trees or improve long-term results.

Is this safe for my kids and pets?

Safety is always a priority. We select treatment methods with site conditions in mind and follow all label directions and applicable regulations.

Many treatments are soil-applied or trunk-based, which helps limit exposure. If any precautions or short re-entry intervals are required, we'll clearly communicate those recommendations before and after service.

How soon will I see a difference?

Results vary depending on the issue, tree species, and site conditions. Some improvements may be noticeable within a single growing season, while others - such as long-term chlorosis or decline - are managed over multiple seasons.

We'll be upfront about what to expect and the realistic timeline for improvement.

Do you offer prepay discounts?

In some cases, yes. For certian multi-visit or annual care plans, prepay options may be available and can provide cost savings.

If applicable, those options will be clearly outlined during your evaluation.
